Returns and Refunds Policy

We take great care to ensure every plant, pot, and accessory leaves us in perfect condition. Because plants are living products, our return terms are different from standard retail. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

What can be returned?

We accept return and refund requests in the following situations only:

Live plants (indoor and outdoor):

  • The plant arrived damaged or showing signs of disease
  • The plant received is incorrect and does not match what you ordered

We do not accept returns for live plants due to change of mind, incompatibility with your space, or personal preference. Plants are living products and we are unable to accept them back once delivered in good condition.

Artificial plants:

  • May be returned within 24 hours of delivery if they arrive damaged or incorrect
  • May also be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are completely unused and in their original packaging

Pots, planters, and decorative accessories:

  • May be returned within 24 hours if they arrive damaged or incorrect
  • May also be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are completely unused and in their original packaging

Pebbles, gravel, and soil products:

  • May be returned within 24 hours of delivery only if the bag is unopened and the item is damaged or incorrect
  • Once the bag has been opened, no returns or refunds are accepted

Non-returnable items under any circumstances:

  • Any live plant that has been repotted, fertilised, pruned, cut, or otherwise treated after delivery
  • Any item returned without its original packaging
  • Gift cards and promotional items
  • Any item reported outside the applicable return window

Reporting window, this is important

All return and refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery for live plants, artificial plants, pots and accessories returning due to damage or incorrect items, and pebbles and gravel.

For unused pots, planters, artificial plants, and accessories being returned due to change of mind, the window is 7 days from delivery.

Requests received outside these windows cannot be processed under any circumstances. We strongly recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives.

How to request a return, step by step

Step 1, Document the issue immediately

As soon as you notice a problem, photograph the item clearly before doing anything else, before unpacking further, before repotting, and before any treatment. Without photographic evidence we are unable to process your request.

Step 2, Contact us within the return window

Send us a message via WhatsApp at +971 50 7034051 or email hello@greenbeetle.ae with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • The item or items you are requesting a return or refund for
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos showing the condition of the item

Step 3, We review your request

Our team will review your request and respond within one business day. We may ask follow-up questions to better understand the issue before approving the return.

Step 4, We arrange collection

Once your return is approved, we will arrange a pickup from your address. Please note:

  • If the return is due to damage or an error on our part, we will cover the full pickup cost at no charge to you
  • If the return is for any other eligible reason, the pickup fee applies and will be charged to you. The pickup fee varies by location and will be confirmed by our team before collection is scheduled

Step 5, Resolution

Once the item has been collected and inspected:

  • For damaged or incorrect live plants, we will first offer you a free replacement plant. If a replacement is not available or you prefer not to wait, we will issue a full refund
  • For all other approved returns, we will process a refund to your original payment method

Refunds

Once a return is approved and the item has been collected, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit or debit card payments: refunded to the original card within 5–7 business days from the date we confirm the return
  • Cash on Delivery orders: refunded via bank transfer to an account in your name within 7 business days from the date we confirm the return. Our team will contact you to arrange the bank transfer details

Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account after we have processed it on our end. This is outside our control.

Green Beetle reserves the right to decline any return or refund request that does not meet the conditions set out in this policy.

Replacements

For damaged or incorrect live plants, our first resolution is always to offer a free replacement. Replacements are subject to stock availability. If the same plant is not available, we will offer you an alternative of equal value or a full refund, your choice.

What if my plant looks unwell after delivery?

If your plant appears unwell within 24 hours of delivery, contact us immediately with photos. We understand that plants can sometimes show stress after transit, and we want to help.

Our team may ask a few questions about how you have been caring for the plant since delivery and offer guidance to help it recover. If we determine the plant arrived in a poor condition through no fault of your own, we will offer a replacement or refund as described above.

What if I received the wrong item?

If the item you received does not match what you ordered, contact us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo of what you received. We will arrange collection of the incorrect item at no cost to you and dispatch the correct item as quickly as possible.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order and receive a full refund with no fees as long as your order has not yet been dispatched. Once dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible.
